Grand Opening Ceremony of Long An Cold Storage - Vietnam's Largest and Most Modern Cold Storage
On the morning of October 7th, 2024, at Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Ben Luc District, Long An Province, the grand opening ceremony of the "Long An Cold Storage" project took place with the participation of partners.
With an investment of up to VND 1,000 billion, the project features a multi-temperature cold storage system ranging from -25°C to +(18-20)°C, suitable for all types of goods requiring temperature control. The warehouse can store various products, from consumer goods to export items such as fruits, agricultural products, and seafood.
Long An Cold Storage is expected to be the most modern cold storage in Vietnam, with a fully automated cold storage area capable of storing 40,000 pallets on an 18-level rack system, a semi-automated cold and chilled storage area with a capacity of 15,000 pallets, and a goods processing area including pre-processing, packaging, and sorting, all adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, environmental protection regulations, and local requirements.
Additionally, the facility is equipped with a rooftop solar energy system to power its operations. This demonstrates the investor's commitment to promoting renewable energy, protecting the environment, and aligning with Transimex Group's "Green Logistics" initiative.
Developing logistics services and infrastructure in Long An Province and the Mekong Delta region is of paramount importance. Therefore, the "Long An Cold Storage" project is timely and aligns with both the company's development goals and the logistics development orientation of Long An Province and the Mekong Delta region.
