On December 19, 2025, at No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Saigon Ward, HCM City (HCMC), the groundbreaking ceremony for the Youth Cultural House Project was held. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Nên - Member of the Politburo, Standing Member of the Sub-committee in charge of documents for the 14th National Party Congress and former Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Văn Chính; Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee Lê Quốc Phong; and leaders of the HCMC People's Council, People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC, and various city departments and agencies, highlighting the project's importance in the city's urban cultural development strategy.
Beyond its architectural and aesthetic value, the Youth Cultural House also holds special socio-cultural significance. It will serve as a hub for artistic, creative, and community exchange activities, while also demonstrating the Party's and State's commitment to the younger generation, contributing to the development of HCMC as a civilized, modern city rich in cultural identity. The project is expected to become a cultural landmark in the heart of Saigon, affirming the city's orientation towards a civilized, modern, and distinctive urban development.
