On December 19, 2025, Vung Tau Ward officially inaugurated the Thuy Van Street Renovation Project – a project of strategic significance in elevating the image of the coastal city and developing national tourism. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thọ, Standing Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council; Mr. Hoàng Nguyên Dinh, Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee, along with representatives from various departments, sectors, and localities.
Thùy Vân – Vũng Tàu's iconic coastal road – has now been given a new look with a modern technical infrastructure system and the verdant Thùy Vân Park, creating a civilized, friendly public space for residents and tourists. This is not merely a renovation project, but also a significant step forward in establishing Vũng Tàu as a leading coastal tourism city in Vietnam.
